Turning Scrap into Value. Building a Cleaner Tomorrow.SCRAPDEAL RECYCLING PRIVATE LIMITED started the way a lot of real problems get solved — someone hit the problem themselves. Founder Jayesh Pakhale struggled to dispose of scrap during college, and turned that frustration into Pune's first doorstep scrap collection app.
What began as a small operation has grown into a business run by three brothers, with no outside funding, no loans, and a simple promise: accurate weighing, transparent pricing, and immediate payment — every time.
Today, ScrapDeal has recycled over 20 lakh kg of waste, empowered 200+ workers, and built a business valued at over ₹5 crore — entirely on trust and reinvested earnings. The story has been featured in Hindustan Times, The Better India, and Inshorts, among others, as an example of how technology and an old-fashioned kabadiwala relationship can work together.
We work across households, housing societies, IT companies, banks, construction sites, colleges, and industrial units — purchasing paper, plastic, metals, e-waste, tyres, glass, reusable clothing, and more, and channelling everything through proper recycling and compliance processes rather than informal scrap markets.

ScrapDeal was born from a simple everyday problem: disposing of large quantities of scrap can be inconvenient, especially for households, senior citizens, working professionals, offices, and businesses. The founders recognized an opportunity to bring convenience, transparency, and technology into an otherwise traditional industry.
From this idea, ScrapDeal began building a modern alternative to conventional scrap collection — one where customers can request a pickup, get their material weighed accurately, understand the applicable rates, and receive payment without unnecessary hassle.
